Here at the Quantock Academy we take E-Safety very seriously. Whilst we are aware that our pupils need to develop their skills and understanding of the digital world we are also aware of the risks that such technology creates. All users of ICT in the Academy have to use the systems responsibly and both staff, visitors, governors and pupils sign an ICT Acceptable Users' Policy.
As an Academy we provide all pupils with the skills and knowledge to understand technology and the computing curriculum but also the potential risks. Lessons are focused on how to use ICT effectively and safely both at school and at home.
We recently audited our E-Safety systems and have completed a 360 degree audit which is attached above in the documant area. We intend to seek accreditation by Spring 2016.
Listed below are some useful links to ensure pupils, parents and carers have access to resources to ensure everyone remains safe and secure in their use of ICT.
If you have any concerns regarding E-safety, then please do not hesitate to contact the Safeguarding Team.
